Darul Ummah Saturday School

Darul Ummah Saturday School [DUSS] is an educational project of Da’watul Islam UK & Eire. It aims to provide quality supplementary Islamic education for the Muslim children, aged from 5 to 16 years. Our syllabus is designed to cover four main areas/subjects of learning: Qur’an & Tajweed, Islamic Studies, Arabic Language and Memorisation of Surah, Hadith & Du’as.

All the classes at DUSS have chairs, tables and whiteboards/smart boards. Children are provided with all the learning materials, including textbook, exercise book, homework dairy and a bag. The school has its own library and holds a large number of titles suitable for children to borrow every week.

The school year begins on the first Saturday of September and ends on the last Saturday of July. The school has provision for eight weeks of holiday in each academic year; two weeks at the end of Autumn and Spring; and four weeks at the end of Summer.
