Sight and Hearing Service

The Sight and Hearing Service helps anyone who is Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted, or has a dual sensory loss.

To access the services people must be over 18 years and live in Tower Hamlets.

We have Sensory and Rehabilitation Workers who can advise on practical aspects of hearing and sight impairment, providing support as well as equipment (following assessment) to help people remain independent.

There is a Duty Worker available Monday, Wednesday and Friday (except last Wednesday of the month), between 9.30am and 1pm at Albert Jacob House, 62 Roman Road, London. E2 0PG.  The contact number is 0207 3646953, or email sightandhearing@towerhamlets.gov.uk.
