Or London Talks - London is Cycling: Safe and Sound?
London is a city full of cyclists: cycling to work, cycling from work, cycling to school and university and cycling for pleasure. It is a healthy, environmentally friendly and exhilarating way to traverse our city.
But hundreds of cycling die on our roads every year. The air is polluted and cyclists often have an antagonistic relationship with pedestrians and other road users.
This event, hosted by Oxford House and Londonist, is a celebration of London cycling and a consideration of how cyclists can travel more safely and how we can all get around our city in greater safety. Our panel will discuss their love of London biking and their ideas to make it safer and better for all.
