Growing and Knowing Wildflowers - Nature and Us

This exciting, FREE, six-week course helps you discover wildflowers and how to grow and care for them — delivered by ‘Nature and Us’ in the wonderful setting of Stepney City Farm!

Suitable for beginners and those wishing to improve their knowledge and skills or develop a community project.

Week 1: Growing wildflowers from seed
Week 2: Propagating wildflowers vegetatively (cuttings, divisions, bulbs)
Week 3: Short-lived wildflowers (annuals and biennials)
Week 4: Long-lived wildflowers (perennials)
Week 5: Wildflower communities and how to create and sustain them
Week 6: Wildflowers for wildlife, especially pollinators

The course is available to people who live, work, study or have some kind of stake in the Mile End and Stepney area. Spaces are limited so please book a place via the contact details below:

'Nature and Us' is a community cohesion project in Tower Hamlets, delivered by the Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park and funded by Tower Hamlets Council. The project provides free events and courses that bring together the local community through nature.
