Futureversity offers an annual programme of free, high quality taster courses, job ready programmes and volunteering opportunities to young people aged 11-25, to help raise their aspirations, offer guidance on progression routes to further and higher education and a career. Programmes combine academic and vocational study, personal development, entertainment and peer volunteer initiatives - Study & Explore, Journalism, Art & Design, Music, Work & Careers, Performing Arts, Sports & Fitness, Cookery, Fashion & Textiles, Film & Digital Arts, IT, Certificates and Celebration. Each Futureversity Job Ready programme for young people who are not in work or education, runs for 11 weeks in partnership with a corporate partner, including a 2 week work placement.
