Planning Aid for London
Planning Aid for London was established in 1973 as an independent planning charity, supporting individuals and communities in London on town planning matters. Our staff and volunteers work with a variety of partners to help improve the quality of people's lives by encouraging community engagement with decision makers and developers to assist in delivering sustainable and diverse places to live, work and play.
We provide free or affordable planning advice on all planning issues. We work along-side communities, public bodies, private companies and third sector organizations to deliver projects and training programmes that benefit by: Enabling better interaction between the decision makers, developers and communities to create more inclusive and better designed schemes.
Training decision-makers and community workers on planning, engagement and consultation techniques enabling more constructive responses. Helping develop training and job opportunities within regeneration schemes allowing more direct community benefits and saving resources. Providing professional planning expertise to advance applications, appeals and policy development.
