Vietnamese Mental Health Services (VMHS)
Working in partnership with mainstream health/social care and other agencies to promote culturally sensitive mental health services and mental wellbeing for the Vietnamese community. Providing one to one support by using 'Recovery Star' approach to assist clients to build a satisfactionary and meaningful life; outreach advice/information; Day centres and supported accommodation. All services are free for Vietnamese residents in London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham.
The service produces Health Newsletters, booklets and leaflets in Vietnamese and Chinese.
It also offers training about mental health issues and health and social care systems to people from Vietnam. VMHS also provides training on Vietnamese beliefs and culture to health and social care professionals.
Bilingual counselling service will start from June 2015, offering free counselling in Vietnamese and Cantonese to Vietnamese community in London.

All service are free for Vietnamese residents in London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham. Cost will be charged at £40 per hour plus travel expense to Community Mental Health Teams and hospital outside of these Boroughs.
