Together Forensic Mental Health Practitioner Service: Bow Probation Service
Together is a leading national charity working for mental wellbeing: that means we work alongside people with mental health problems, so they feel better equipped to deal with their distress and lead happier and more hopeful lives.
We provide practical support to people in their own homes and communities as well as in residential and secure settings and within the criminal justice system.
We have a wide range of services nationally which include: services for people involved with the criminal justice system, advocacy services, community support services, employment and personal-development schemes and many more.
Together’s Forensic Mental Health Practitioner (FMHP) Service works within the National Probation Service (NPS) to provide assessment and therapeutic intervention where people have a primary mental health need and may also be experiencing a number of other vulnerabilities including personality disorder, learning disability and substance or alcohol misuse. Our practitioners also support service users with risk concerns including self-harm and suicide.
